Only child of John and Tammy Eakes. Lance was a gunner, this is the position he volunteered for because he didn't want any of the parents in his unit to have this duty. He loved his brothers and sisters in his unit, and was very close to them. He loved life and his family and friends. He was very independent, demanding of himself, and a friend to everyone that crossed his path. Taken way too early from us!!!
