Water fowling For Warriors

Being a avid water fowler and a proud Life Sponsor for Ducks Unlimited here in North Carolina, I wanted to appeal to all sportsmen out there who love to duck hunt. Water Fowling for Warriors is a program specifically dedicated to giving opportunities to our wounded warriors to get out there and enjoy the sport of duck hunting. We have some fantastic duck hunting right here in North Carolina, and would ask any chapter, or someone who owns, leases, or belongs to a hunt club, someone that just loves to duck hunt, that is interested in hosting some of these brave soldiers to contact us. The need for events like this and the amount of therapy it provides in the recovery of these soldiers, is immeasurable, as it should be. We want North Carolina to be the first state to adopt a waterfowl program such as this one, dedicated specifically to duck hunting. I promise you that your chapter or hunting club will remember and enjoy hosting some of these wounded warriors for a long time, I know I certainly do. Remember when watching a flock of geese at sunset coming in, or the sound of woodies heading to a mill pond, that we can sit and enjoy this wonder of nature ,and sleep peacefully in our beds at night, in part because these men and women choose to stand watch on our behalf. Patriot Hunts is committed to getting these wounded warriors back in the outdoors one at a time if need be.
